性状：有特殊气味。易燃。燃烧时冒黑烟而无绿色边缘。能与乙醇、乙醚、丙酮、四氯化碳、二硫化碳、冰乙酸和油类任意混溶，微溶于水。易燃。低毒，半数致死量（大鼠，经口）3800mg/kg。有致癌可能性。
